It doesnt matter about your subs!!! Subs dont make power, the amp is what makes the power. The subs just handle/play the power. If you only have a 200 watt amp, your 900 watt speakers are only playing 200 watts worth of sound.

So, it ALL depends on your amp! Generally 8 gauge is good up to 500 watts or so (60 Amps really) and anything more than 60 amps, 4 gauge should be used.
