Amp
What size amp would work best and not to face?

I want to connect an Amplifier to my two rear speakers in a 01 PONTIAC GRAND AM. There are two familiar 6x9 kewood with 450 watts max. Im looking for either 4-channel or 3 so I can finally connect one or two subwoofers. Again i dont want to spend lot of money. How many watts are recommended for my amp to power these speakers, not blowing?

Well the first thing to check is if you have stereo Monsoon, because if you do, then you will do some more work. Secondly, when it needs to connect the speakers, watts max is not what you seek, you for the RMS that tells what can be turned off. I just got 2 Pioneer 460 Watt High 6x9s, and RMS with 90 watts, his would be very close to it. On the amplifier, I would recommend getting a 4 way 400 watt if you are planning on getting a sub, so you can bridge 2 channels and the power of a sub with an RMS 200 watts. I'm not very familiar with the Amps but for all the information you need, recommend going to www.grandamgt.com, and create a free account to find all your answers and send to others about the problems you are having or ideas you have. The best part about the website is that you do not have to go into extreme depth because the website is focused exclusively on Pontiac Grand Ams and it is likely that someone has already proven what he is doing. Also, some good links to sites website for some stunning Grand Am parts like tail lights and cold air intakes.
