distribution block???
I am running 2 Amps. One Amp with a fuse of 30A and the other 2X30A. That is a total of 90A. I will be running One Waterproof Mini-Anl Fuse Holder with 120A Fuse on a 4 gauge wire from the battery to the distribution block. My distribution block is not fused. My question is after the distribution block will i need a inline fuse for the wires of the 2 amps. Or is it ok to just insert the 2 wires to each slot without the inline fuses? HELP PLEASE!!!!!
this is for my car system and my total MRS wattage is 500.
I agree with Sam, i would simply replace the current distribution block with one that has fuses.
here is a great value, that also includes the fuses (%15).
http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KNF-12. the 4 ga, wire is a great choice, 8 ga, would be all that is required to each individual amp. i typically only use a non Fused Distribution Block as a Ground Distribution Block. (all amps to distribution block, then a single larger gauge positively connected to a car ground.
