My Remote Car starter will get the engine to turn over but not start, any suggestions?
I drive a 2004 Sunfire, the remote will unlock my doors as well as attempt to start the car; the engine turns over fine but then the car shuts itself off. If the key is in the ignition and I press the remote start button the engine will start. Anyone have any ideas it seems like a pretty simple problem, I checked to make sure the switch under the steering column is on.
Need a little more information. Did the Remote Starter ever work?
I'm going to assume that it did at one time. If that is the case, the wire from the remote starter control which is under the dash, to the ignition has come loose. Now fixing it is going to be a little more difficult without knowing what kind of remote starter you have.
