Can an amp's wiring kit fuse and fuse holder be connected to a car's fuse-box ?
Does anyone know if it's okay to install an amp's wiring kit fuse and fuse-holder to our car's "under-the-hood" fuse box instead of the car battery?
Will this draw too much power from our alternator, wearing it out faster, and we may need to replace the alternator sooner rather than later? Do we need a capacitor if it's just a one-amp system connected to the fuse-box? Thanx !
yes depending on your connections on your fuse box. a lot of older vehicles have open connectors on the fuse box for extra wires. most of them are for low amperage applications and i wouldnt do it. i would run it straight to the battery with the correct correct connector on the terminals
