Can I get a ticket if my front two tires were past the white line at a red light?
So today I was driving and I misjudged a yellow light. I ended up slamming my breaks and the wet roads made my car slide to the point where my front two tires crossed the limit line. I'm not sure if the camera flashed, but if it did would I get a ticket for this?
I mean, I had no intention of running the red light, I just accidentally entered the intersection a little bit.
If I get the ticket, can I fight it in court?
Most (possibly all) redlight cameras have two sensor points; 1 is at the white line and the other is at the far edge of the intersection and it only tickets you if you trip both sensors. Since you did not trip the second sensor, then you should be fine.
