What is the best subwoofer I can buy for my 2011 Mazdaspeed3 Hatchback when powered by Alpine Pdx-5?
I just bought the Alpine PDX-5, JBL MS-8 sound processor and Alpine SPR-60C front components. I'm keeping the rear speakers stock for now. But I need to know what is the best subwoofer I can buy for my vehicle. I listen to techno and rock. I don't car about how much space it takes up in the trunk. Crutchfield said to get the CS112TG-w1v2. I'm just looking for other opinions.
Thanks In Advance.....
If you don't want to build your own enclosure or pay someone to build a custom enclosure, then yes this option is a decent one.
Personally I would go with http://www.woofersetc.com/p-4994-id12d2-v3-image-dynamics-12-dual-2-ohm-subwoofer.aspx
And I would build a custom ported enclosure for it since you said space isn't a problem. I will be more efficient and cleaner sounding that the JL sub. If you do it yourself it could even be slightly cheaper, but it will be some work.
PS... sweet car.
