Need Help with my car audio setup?
I have a 98 honda accord, i want to change the speakers in it and the HU
This is what i am thinking about
HU--Alpine CDA-9883
Rear speakers--Alpine - Type-S 6" x 9" 3-Way Coaxial Car Speakers (250 watts each)
Front speakers--Alpine - 6-1/2" 2-Way Coaxial Car Speakers (Pair)
10" sub
what kind of Amp should i use, should i get two amp i don't want to kill my car battery or should i get another battery
Actually the amp that I would recommend is the Kicker ZX700.5. It is a 5 channel amp that will power the front, rear, and the sub. This amp is awesome, I put one in my wifes car and it sounds amazing. she is running (4) kicker 6 1/2 2 ways, and (2) kicker 10" comp VR subs. It is VERY clean, and has nice bass, not the over-powering kind that drowns everything out. This amp retails at stores for $569, but you can get them on Ebay for $200. I got mine from Ebay, and the other stuff as well. With this being 1 amp to do everything all you will need is a 4 Gauge Amp Kit, make sure you have at least 2 RCA preouts on your head unit, 3 preferably, that way you can fade the sound if necessary, and your RCA cables.
