A Few Questions About Entertainment Systems For My Impala?
Alright, pending how much my tax return is I am going about doing some restoration work on my Impala I just bought, here are a few of my ideas I plan on doing.
I am going to be a college student with time to kill in between class, so I am purchasing a stereo for the car that has an AV jack and a built in DVD player/Bluetooth. I also need to install new speakers in the car. But what else I am planning on doing is hooking a PS2, or other various game systems up in the trunk and installing a switchboard in the glovebox so I can flip between Rear-View camera, Xbox, PS2, etc. So a few questions about all this;
1.) Is the BOSS BV9560B stereo system a good pick?
2.) Is the BOSS Chaos series of speakers good choices?
3.) How can I run all the wiring from the trunk for my speakers back there and the game systems without having cords running everywhere?
All serious answers are appreciated! Thank you!
boss speakers are always a good choice.. as for running the wiring into new door speakers from the truck... well ... starting in the truck ... remove the back seat cushion and run the wiring from the truck to under the carpet .. pull the wiring under the carpet so it comes out under the I.P. in front... remove the kick panels to expose a hole in the body .. remove the rubber conduit from the front pillar to the doors... run the wiring from the front carpet thru the exposed hole and thru the rubber door conduit into the door to your new speakers ... not too sure but you may have to reprogram the BCM ( Body Control Module) as it may not recognize your new radio system
