New sound system idea. What do you think?
I know some of the brands aren't the best but its okay. Just want more then factory 98' Windstar system. I'm looking to stay under $850 (or in that area), so heres what I'm lookin at.
1-JVC Arsenal,KD-AHD59 CD/MP3 receiver w/HD radio,USB input, & iPod control $160
1-Pioneer, XMp3, portable XM satellite radio w/home & car kits $180
2-Audiobahn,ABC680V, 6''x8'' component systems $100
1-Boss Audio,CW350, 50Wx4(rms) Amplifier(to drive components) $65
1-Visonik, dual 12'' subs in bandpass box $140
1-Boss Audio,D800.2, 260Wx2(rms) amplifier (to power subs) $120
1-Boss Audio,CAP2R, 2.0 farad digital capacitor w/LED Display $40
and I would use a 2ga. dual Amplifier Wiring Kit
This all comes up to right around $815 or so. 720 watts (RMS) output wold be much better then the stock crap I use now.

one thing many people dont know is that a capacitor wont make a big difference unless its upwards of 200+ farads, which is only used in competition. The capacitor does not prevent dimming headlights, it simply restores the power to them, u will hear your bass spike when this happens, rarely does any car need it. Mostly just for show. No offense but Visonik subs are garbage. If ur looking for a budget subwoofer look at pioneer or kenwood.
Dont go crazy on this system for example...

If you can get the manager of car audio at Best Buy the can usually give u good deals on 1 year old models and such
I would not recommend eBay as i had bad experiences with car audio on it.
ive used Boss Amps before, they are surprisingly powerful.
i dont know about ur preference but i would stay away from audiobahn. They went out of business so there isnt a warranty or gaurantee. I hear they make good stuff but becuase they are out of business they are much cheaper.
