Why do my sub woofers pulse or have static, But sometimes when I turn them up loud it stops?
01 F150 xlt
I have 2 10" subs coming off a 500 max watt Amp.
The subwoofers pulse or have static even when i just turn the key back to aux. Once in a while, when i turn the volume up they loose static and sound crisp.
I also have a ground loop isolator on the rca cables
----I don't believe its the ground because I drilled a half inch hole through the back seat support, I also wire brushed a large circle around the hole and pushed a large washer and bolt through it.
Please help!
Thanks
ok his answer is true and it can also be that your amp is turned up way to high and should be turned down just a bit because the amp is pushing so much power i into the subs it will cause them to pulse

US $5.50
