How do you program a Keyless Remote for a 2002 Honda Civic Ex?
we recently got a used 2002 Honda Civic, but it did not come with any Keyless Entry remotes. we are planning on buying one or two remotes off of ebay, but we are unsure of how to program them and also where the FCC ID is located on the car. we checked on the frame of the driver-side door where there is a manufacturers label and a car information label, but could not find it. does anybody know how to program a 2002 Honda Civic keyless Entry Remote? or where to find the FCC ID on the car?
knowshon is right. If the vehicle had the key less Entry System at one time it will work, but if the system was never there or if someone removed it , it will not work. If the contorl unit is there u just have to follow that procedure and it will work. Good luck!
