Rca Noise Filter hook up?
i recently ran into some engine noise with my Amp so i picked up a noise filter (Ground Loop Isolator) and it has the two male and female jacks (red and white). I have these hooked up into my amp and the cables coming from my head unit are going into the filter. When i do this, my amp is not getting any sound. There is also two brown wires coming off of the filter. Could not having these grounded be the problem and if so, do i ground these seperatly to the car body or can i wire them together into one grounding location. Thanks.
You should ground them to the common location with your amp.
