Subwoofers/Amp problems?
i have 2 12" kenwood subs on a bridged connection to a 800 watt lanzar vibe 231 amp, and all of that is wired to a brand new head unit. everything worked great for awhile, but now the 30A fuses it says to use are getting fried in a matter of minutes. i even tried turning the amp down to its min and theyre still breaking. what can i do fix this?
Sounds like you're running the amp at too low an impedence which is making it draw too much current, hence blowing out those fuses.
Check out this video to learn about impedences, and then you can double check your subs are loading the amp down too low (I bet they are):
