I am answering your question on one right now! I think very highly of it, it is well regarded as LCDs go in reviews - I bought mine in late December and have loved it from day one.

One thing worth noting (I learned after the fact)- there are three versions of the 226bw, the A, the C and the S - they do not advertise this, I think it just indicated who actually assembles it for samsung (I am guessing - google will lead you to detail if you desire it)

TRY TO AVOID GETTING THE C. On the back of the monitor, under the cover where the dvi/vga/power connectors are, there is a label, with the model number , then some space then a letter - check that letter

Every review I have read places the C version at subpar - some even 'poor' performance to related reviews of this monitor. The A and S version are both great (many say the S is the best, I have an A and have zero complaints, money very well spent)

But in general, this is a superb LCD.

PS-gaming is great on it as well, no ghosting issues at all so far
