Does anyone know how to rewire a lamp that has 2 bulbs plus a night light in the base?
Hi! I recently bought 2 gorgeous stained glass lamps that have 2 bulbs in them. (Not including the small bulb in the bases) They were each suppose to have 2 pull chains on them~one for each bulb~BUT all they have are an inline switch that works all 3 bulbs. Is there anyway that I can add a 2 pull chain system and maybe keep an inline switch for the "night light" that is in the base of the lamp? (I don't want to have 2 seperate cords.) I've rewired regular lamps before, but never tackled anything like this. If anyone knows of a kit or something that is available (Or just your own ideas) I would really appreciate your help:)

I really love the lamps too much to return them, so I'll live with them the way they are if I have to:)
Yes it's possible to do it anyway you want it. Since you've done wiring before you know how to do that. You can buy the pull chain switches at supply stores or hardware stores. All you do with them is feed the hot wire going to the light on one side then out the other side and on to the light socket.
