How To Wire 2 Dual Voice Coil 4ohm Kicker Subs To A 2ohm Load on an Amp?
Someone said to put it in series but having taken physics nearly 3 years ago, i do not remember any ohms law/series circuits/parallel etcetc
If you could provide a diagram it would be real helpful. Thanks!
It is a Mono Amp/ 1 channel
and the two dvc subs are in one enclosure.
Just some info
2 Kicker cvr 400 watts rms (Peak at 1600 for both)
(My subs are 4 ohms/ actually i do not know whether or not they are 2ohm or 4ohm, does it matter?)
1 Kicker 750.1 (750 watts rms) (At 2 ohms it provides 750 watts)

They might be two ohms then
the person i got it from said he wired them at 2 ohms with that amp.
With a pair of dvc 4's you can't get 2 ohms. Your options are 1, 4, or 16.
1 would probably put that amp in thermal or over-current protection. 4 will get you 375w and 16 is not a reasonable option (something under 100w).
You need a pair of dvc 2's to get to 2 ohms...1/2, 2, or 8.
