Question regarding malfunctioning mtx thunder 5601 Amplifier?
I have a used MTX Audio Thunder 5601 Amp. When hooked up correctly to the car(in place of the working amp) , there are no lights on the amp(this includes the short and thermal lights on the back as well as the decorative lights) light up. a volt meter confirmed the amp is getting current and the fuses are good and installed correctly;all other wires including the REM the left and right inputs and the wires to the Subs are installed correctly. there is no voltage on any terminal going to the sub, but the resistance does fluctuate going up when there should be base in the song spiking to nearly 200 ohms when there should be the most base. Please help me out.
There are no burn marks or obviously blown components in the amp.

Sounds like the main power supply died in the amp.
