How do I disable a Keyless Entry system which prevents the engine from being started if the remote isn't used?
I drive a 98 Toyota Corolla and I have a DEI Valet keyless Entry System installed which prevents the engine from being started if the remote isn't used to unlock the doors. Both remotes that I have a broken and I don't want to buy a new one. There isn't an alarm installed, just the Keyless Entry System and the engine kill thing. I want to know if there is a way to disable this Security System. Thanks.
take the cpu of the Alarm System which is located under the steering wheel or under the front passenger side dashboard. if it's factory installed then remove fuse inside car fuse box not the fuse box under the hood.
