What kind of subs and Amp should i get?
What i have now just isnt loud enough! I have a kenwood DNX 6140 head unit. Right now i have 2 10" kicker CVT's and a Sony amp with these specs.

I do have a truck and my box is under my back seat so i am a little pressed for space. And the point is what i have now isnt loud enough. So i was wondering if u guys had some amp and 2 10" sub setup ideas that would make it bump.
Try the subs in a band pass box and an amp that is double the RMS power this will increase your bass by double
All Amps RMS output should match the RMS of the speaker or
speakers they will be driving or at least over by 25 %
Example
SUB 500 RMS @ 4 Ohm = AMP 500 RMS 4 Ohm
2 SUBS 500 RMS 4 Ohm =1000 RMS 4 Ohm
2 SUBS 500 RMS 4 Ohm = AMP 1500 RMS @ 2 Ohm
you need to make sure the subs are the same type and wattage
MUST MATCH
With SUBS you need to take into Account that your sub box can change the WATTAGE needed to run your speaker as a sealed box with a sub 100w = 100w but the 100w sub in a ported box could need 200w depending on port size and box Litres
A PORTED BOX MEANS MORE AIR DISPLACEMENT SO YOU NEED MORE POWER TO MOVE THE AIR
A SEALED BOX MAINTAINS THE RMS OF THE WOOFER AND THE POWER FROM THE AMP DOES NOT CHANGE
IF A SUB IS 400 W RMS @ 4 Ohm AND YOU RUN 2 THIS WOULD BE 800 W RMS YOU WOULD NEED :-
400 W RMS BY 2 CHANNEL FOR EACH @ 4 Ohm sealed
800 W RMS BY 1 CHANNEL MONO BLOCK @ 4 Ohm sealed
1000 W RMS BY 1 CHANNEL MONO BLOCK @ 2 Ohm sealed
+ 25 % more power if ported
It is always better to over power than under power you can turn your gain down but you cant get more power
from an amp buy turning up the gain on an amp that has not enough power.
Make sure the paint has been scratched of the body under the earth.
Make sure the screws are not loose ( I would replace with a nut and bolt.
Make sure the RCA and speaker leads are not near your Power cables.
Opposite sides of the car pref
Make sure there is a Decent Earth to the body of the car and to the motor
Make sure that the amp Earth cable is properly connected to Amp and Car Body Preferably with a bolt and the
paint is of and you can see bear metal.
