hey i have a bandpass system and i was wondering if it is possible to stuff the box with sound deadener and on which side of the sub(the side with the ports or without). also does just plain foam do the same thing as hushmat and dynamat?(could i line the inside of my trunk with foam). If not what is a cheaper alternative to sound deadening because those brands are way too expensive for me cause im just a poor college student. anyways, any help would be appreciated

Also will this make the sub hit harder and make it louder because right now it sounds kind some-what weak.
