My BMW 2003 525i with 90008 miles on it wont start. I can jump it off fine but as soon as I kill the car...?
I have a 2003 BMW 525i with 91008 miles on it. This morning it just randomly would not start. It just clicked. I had no signs that the battery was dieing or that the starter was going out in the prior days up to this. I jumped my car off fine and made it home no problem and let it run for an hour. I turned the car off and immediately tried to turn in back on only to find out that it wouldnt start again... not even a click this time. Whats the problem?!?!
It's not the alternator. The only reason your car ran at all after the jump is because the alternator was providing power. As soon as you shut it off and needed the battery, nothing. Replace the battery. If it's original, it's time anyway.
