Can I add pins to a connector harness?
I recently bought 2 wiring harnesses for my car's stereo (one male one female) of the stock sound system. the male part has all 20 pins with wires, but the female one was designed to connect an aftermarket head unit and only utilizes 8 of the 20 pins. can i order pins and crimp them onto my own wires to make use of the connector? i dont want to cut too many wires in my dash...
Why not just buy the correct connector?
